The Standing Joint Committee on Official Languages met at 3:32 p.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Co-Chair, The Hon. Shirley Maheu, presiding.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(4)b), the Committee undertook its consultation of the English and French linguistic minority communities of Canada on the action plan of the Minister responsible for coordinating issues on Official Languages.
The witnesses made statements and answered questions.
At 5:36 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 5:50 p.m., the sitting resumed.
At 6:39 p.m., the sitting was suspended again.
At 7:10 p.m., the sitting resumed.
At 8:27 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
