Pursuant to the orders of reference from the House of Commons on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, and from Senate on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, the committee resumed its study of the follow-up on recommendation 13 of the second report of the Special Joint Committee on Medical Assistance in Dying.

H. Archibald Kaiser, Tarek Rajji and Mauril Gaudreault made statements and, with André Luyet, answered questions.

At 7:27 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 7:31 p.m., the sitting resumed.

K. Sonu Gaind and Eleanor Gittens made statements and answered questions.

At 8:31 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 8:37 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.
