Pursuant to the orders of reference from the House of Commons on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 and from the Senate on Thursday, March 31, 2022, and subsection 5(1) of An Act to amend the Criminal Code (medical assistance in dying), the committee resumed the statutory review of the Act.

Cheryl Romaire and Trish Nichols made statements and, with Gary Nichols, answered questions.

At 7:32 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 7:36 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the joint clerk of the committee, not later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2022.

At 9:05 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
