Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

1. Paragraph 405(1)(b) of the Canada Elections Act is replaced by the following:
|
|
|
|
1. L’alinéa 405(1)b) de la Loi électorale du Canada est remplacé par ce qui suit :
|

|
|
|
(b) $1,000 in total in any calendar year to a candidate for a particular election who is not the candidate of a registered party; and
|
|
|
|
b) 1 000 $, au total, au cours d’une année civile au candidat qui n’est pas le candidat d’un parti enregistré pour une élection donnée;
