SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Navigable Waters Protection Act in order to add the St. Croix River and the Restigouche River to the navigable waters listed in the schedule to that Act and to replace the upstream point of the Saint John River listed in the schedule to that Act, as it will read immediately after the coming into force of section 331 of the Jobs and Growth Act, 2012.

Le texte modifie la Loi sur la protection des eaux navigables pour ajouter les rivières St. Croix et Restigouche aux eaux navigables mentionnées à l’annexe de cette loi et pour remplacer le point en amont de la rivière Saint John mentionnée à l’annexe de cette loi, dans sa version postérieure à l’entrée en vigueur de l’article 331 de la Loi de 2012 sur l’emploi et la croissance.

1. Part 2 of the schedule to the Navigable Waters Protection Act, as it reads immediately after the coming into force of section 331 of the Jobs and Growth Act, 2012, is amended by adding after item 59 in the columns shown the following:

COMING INTO FORCE

Coming into force
3. This Act comes into force on the later of the day section 331 of the Jobs and Growth Act, 2012 comes into force and the day on which this Act receives royal assent.
3. La présente loi entre en vigueur à la date d’entrée en vigueur de l’article 331 de la Loi de 2012 sur l’emploi et la croissance ou, si elle est postérieure, à la date de sanction de la présente loi.
