SOMMAIRE
Le texte modifie la Loi sur le ministère de l’Industrie afin de prévoir l’obligation pour le ministre de l’Industrie de publier certains renseignements concernant l’aide financière accordée soit en vertu de l’article 14 de la loi, soit par toute agence de développement ou de promotion économique dont il est responsable.
SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Department of Industry Act in order to require the Minister of Industry to publish certain information concerning the financial assistance provided either under section 14 of the Act or by any economic development or opportunities agency for which the Minister has responsibility.

1 La Loi sur le ministère de l’Industrie est modifiée par adjonction, après l’article 14, de ce qui suit :
1 The Department of Industry Act is amended by adding the following after section 14:

14.1 Dans les quatre-vingt-dix jours suivant la fin de chaque exercice au cours duquel des prêts ont été consentis, des subventions ou contributions ont été accordées ou des assurances-prêts ou assurances-crédit ont été souscrites, soit en vertu de l’article 14 ou par toute agence de développement ou de promotion économique dont il est responsable, le ministre publie sur le site Web du ministère de l’Industrie les renseignements suivants :
a) un état indiquant tous les prêts consentis et subventions ou contributions accordées de 100 000 $ ou plus et les assurances-prêts ou assurances-crédit souscrites au cours de l’exercice visé;
b) les circonstances, les modalités et les conditions de remboursement des prêts consentis, y compris la méthode et le calendrier prévus pour le remboursement, et l’état de celui-ci;
c) dans le cas où des options d’achat d’actions — ou autres titres financiers ou assimilés — ont été obtenues à titre de condition des prêts, subventions, contributions, assurances-prêts ou assurances-crédit, les détails concernant ces options, notamment le nombre d’options acquises, exercées, cédées ou vendues, ainsi que les modalités et conditions attachées à celles-ci.
Fin du bloc inséré14.1 Within 90 days after the end of each fiscal year in which loans or grants and contributions were made or loan insurance or credit insurance was provided, either under section 14 or by any economic development or opportunities agency for which the Minister has responsibility, the Minister shall publish the following information on the Department of Industry’s website:
(a) a statement of all loans or grants and contributions of $100,000 or more made, and loan insurance or credit insurance provided during that fiscal year;
(b) the circumstances of and terms and conditions for repayment of the loans made, including the repayment method and schedule, and the repayment status; and
(c) in the event that stock options or other financial or similar instruments were obtained as a condition under which loans or grants and contributions were made, or loan insurance or credit insurance provided, the details of these options, including the number of options acquired, exercised, assigned or sold, and the terms and conditions attached to the options.
