SUMMARY This enactment amends the Employment Insurance Act to increase the benefit period for parental leave from one to two years, and to specify that, where this benefit period is extended owing to the hospitalization of the child, the total benefit period may not exceed three years.		SOMMAIRE Le texte modifie la Loi sur l’assurance-emploi afin de porter de un an à deux ans la période de prestations du congé parental et de prévoir que, dans les cas où cette période est prolongée en raison de l’hospitalisation de l’enfant, elle ne peut dépasser trois ans au total.
