Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

1. Part I of Schedule I to the Hazardous Products Act is amended by adding the following in numerical order:
|

|
|

|
42. Helmets that are designed for use in non-motorized recreational snow sports and that do not meet the requirements of the Canadian Standards Association standard identified by a standard number containing “CSA-Z263.1”, as amended from time to time.
|
|
|
|
42. Casques conçus pour la pratique récréative d’un sport de neige non motorisé qui ne satisfont pas aux exigences de la norme de l’Association canadienne de normalisation identifiée par un numéro comprenant « CSA-Z263.1 », compte tenu de ses modifications successives.

2. This Act comes into force on a day that is ten days after the day on which the Canadian Standards Association standard referred to in section 1 is published.
|
|
|
|
2. La présente loi entre en vigueur dix jours après la publication de la norme de l'Association canadienne de normalisation visée à l’article 1.
