SOMMAIRE
Le texte modifie le Code criminel afin d’exiger que le rapport présentenciel fasse état des troubles mentaux dont souffre le délinquant.
SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Criminal Code to require that a presentence report contain information on any mental disorder from which the offender suffers.

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
1 Le paragraphe 721(3) du Code criminel est modifié par adjonction, après l’alinéa a), de ce qui suit :
1 Subsection 721(3) of the Criminal Code is amended by adding the following after paragraph (a):
-

a.1) les troubles mentaux dont souffre le délinquant, ainsi que les programmes de soins de santé mentale à sa disposition;

(a.1) any mental disorder from which the offender suffers as well as any mental health care programs available to them;
