SOMMAIRE
Le texte modifie la Loi sur l’assurance-emploi afin de faire passer de quinze à cinquante le nombre maximal de semaines pendant lesquelles des prestations peuvent être versées dans le cas d’une maladie, d’une blessure ou d’une mise en quarantaine.
SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Employment Insurance Act to extend the maximum period for which benefits for illness, injury or quarantine may be paid from 15 weeks to 50 weeks.

Sa Majesté, sur l’avis et avec le consentement du Sénat et de la Chambre des communes du Canada, édicte :

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
1 L’alinéa 12(3)c) de la Loi sur l’assurance-emploi est remplacé par ce qui suit :
1 Paragraph 12(3)(c) of the Employment Insurance Act is replaced by the following:

c) dans le cas d’une maladie, d’une blessure ou d’une mise en quarantaine prévue par règlement, Insertion start cinquante Insertion end semaines;

(c) because of a prescribed illness, injury or quarantine is Insertion start 50 Insertion end ;
2 L’alinéa 152.14(1)c) de la même loi est remplacé par ce qui suit :
2 Paragraph 152.14(1)(c) of the Act is replaced by the following:
