SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Food and Drugs Act to prohibit the sale of cosmetics that contain pieces of plastic that measure five millimetres or less in every dimension.

An Act to amend the Food and Drugs Act (microbeads)
R.S., c. F-27

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
1. Section 16 of the Food and Drugs Act is amended by adding the following after paragraph (a):
(a.1) contains pieces of degradable or non-degradable plastic that measure five millimetres or less in every dimension;
