SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Canada Post Corporation Act to
(a) re-establish roadside mail delivery service to rural mail boxes that were in service on September 1, 2005;
(b) require the Corporation to give notice to the residents affected by a proposed change to mail delivery or other postal services in rural Canada and to undertake a consultation with the residents affected by the proposed change; and
(c) provide for the appointment of a Canada Post Ombudsman.
