SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Canada Elections Act so that contributions may be made, in any calendar year, to a candidate who is not the candidate of a registered party.

An Act to amend the Canada Elections Act (contributions)
2000, c. 9
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
1. Paragraph 405(1)(b) of the Canada Elections Act is replaced by the following:
(b) $1,000 in total in any calendar year to a candidate for a particular election who is not the candidate of a registered party; and
