SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Hazardous Products Act to add products made in whole or in part of dog or cat fur to the prohibited products list.
The enactment also amends the Textile Labelling Act to add the phrase “any animal skin from which the hair or fur has not been removed” to the definition “consumer textile article”.

SOMMAIRE
Le texte modifie la Loi sur les produits dangereux afin d’ajouter à la liste des produits interdits les produits composés entièrement ou partiellement de fourrure de chien ou de chat.
Il modifie également la Loi sur l’étiquetage des textiles afin d’inclure, dans la définition de « article textile de consommation », les peaux d’animal garnies de leur poil ou fourrure.
