SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Library and Archives of Canada Act to provide for the establishment of a permanent display in the National Capital Region of portraits and works related to portraiture from the collection of the Library and Archives of Canada. The permanent display is to be called the National Portrait Gallery.

Le texte modifie la Loi sur la Bibliothèque et les Archives du Canada afin de prévoir l’établissement dans la région de la capitale nationale d’une exposition permanente de portraits et d’oeuvres faisant partie de la collection de portraits de Bibliothèque et Archives du Canada. Cette exposition permanente porte le nom de Musée national du portrait.
