SUMMARY This enactment requires the Minister of the Environment to make regulations prohibiting the use of benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) in certain products within 12 months after the enactment comes into force. The enactment also amends Schedule 1 to the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 to include benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP).		SOMMAIRE Le texte oblige le ministre de l’Environnement à prendre des règlements interdisant l’utilisation de phtalate de butylbenzyle (BBP), de phtalate de dibutyle (DBP) et de phtalate de di(2-éthylhexyle) (DEHP) dans certains produits dans les douze mois suivant l’entrée en vigueur du texte. En outre, le texte modifie l’annexe 1 de la Loi canadienne sur la protection de l’environnement (1999) afin d’y inclure le phtalate de butylbenzyle (BBP), le phtalate de dibutyle (DBP) et le phtalate de di(2-éthylhexyle) (DEHP).
