SUMMARY

This enactment amends the Canadian Security Intelligence Service Act. It provides that the members of the Security Intelligence Review Committee will be appointed by the Governor in Council after each federal general election within the first four months that the House of Commons is sitting

    (a) with the approval of the leader of each party having at least twelve members in the House of Commons; and

    (b) after approval, by resolution of that House.
