Hazardous Products Act

R.S., c. 15 (4th Supp.), s. 9(2)

61. Subsection 3(2) of the Hazardous Products Act is replaced by the following:

Restrictions on application

(2) This Part does not apply to the advertis ing, sale or importation of a tobacco product as defined in section 2 of the Tobacco Act or the advertising of lighters or matches that display a tobacco product-related brand ele ment.

62. Paragraph 12(h) of the Act is replaced by the following:

    (h) tobacco or a tobacco product as defined in section 2 of the Tobacco Act; or

R.S., c. 15 (4th Supp.), s. 9(1)

63. Section 4.1 of Part II of Schedule I to the Act is repealed.

Repeals

Repeal of R.S., c. 14 (4th Supp.)

64. The Tobacco Products Control Act is repealed.

Repeal

65. The Tobacco Sales to Young Persons Act, chapter 5 of the Statutes of Canada, 1993, is repealed.
