SUMMARY |

This enactment amends the Food and Drugs Act to prohibit the retail
sale of a prepackaged food containing an ingredient that has been
genetically altered through a prescribed biotechnological process,
unless a label is attached stating that the prepackaged product has been
genetically altered or contains an ingredient that has been genetically
altered.
