SOMMAIRE
Le texte modifie la Loi sur l’hymne national afin de remplacer les mots « thy sons » par « of us » dans la version anglaise de l’hymne national pour éliminer de celui-ci toute distinction de genre.
SUMMARY
This enactment amends the National Anthem Act to substitute the words “of us” for the words “thy sons” in the English version of the national anthem, thus making it gender neutral.

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
1 L’annexe de la Loi sur l’hymne national est remplacée par celle figurant à l’annexe de la présente loi.
1 The schedule to the National Anthem Act is replaced by the schedule set out in the schedule to this Act.
