SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Criminal Code to require courts to take into account for sentencing purposes, as an aggravating circumstance, the fact that the victim was, at the time of the commission of the offence, a person employed in a public transportation service and carrying out his or her duties or a person acting in aid of such a person.

SOMMAIRE
Le texte modifie le Code criminel afin d’exiger du tribunal qu’il considère, pour la détermination de la peine, comme une circonstance aggravante le fait que la victime, lors de la perpétration de l’infraction, soit était une personne employée par un service de transport en commun et agissant dans l’exercice de ses fonctions, soit prêtait main-forte à une telle personne.
