SUMMARY This enactment amends the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act to prohibit the production, possession and sale of any substance or any equipment or other material that is intended for use in production of or trafficking in methamphetamine.		SOMMAIRE Le texte modifie la Loi réglementant certaines drogues et autres substances afin d’interdire la production, la possession et la vente de toute substance ou de tout appareil ou autre matériel destinés à la production ou au trafic de méthamphétamine.

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

Sa Majesté, sur l’avis et avec le consentement du Sénat et de la Chambre des communes du Canada, édicte :

1996, ch. 19

1. The Controlled Drugs and Substances Act is amended by adding the following after section 7:

1. La Loi réglementant certaines drogues et autres substances est modifiée par adjonction, après l’article 7, de ce qui suit :

Methamphetamine		7.1 No person shall produce, possess or sell
		(a) any substance or any equipment or other material that is intended for use in the production of methamphetamine; or
		(b) any equipment or other material that is intended for use in trafficking in methamphetamine.

7.1 Il est interdit de produire, d’avoir en sa possession ou de vendre :		Méthamphé-tamine
a) toute substance ou tout appareil ou autre matériel destinés à la production de méthamphétamine;
b) tout appareil ou autre matériel destiné au trafic de méthamphétamine.
