SOMMAIRE
Le texte modifie le Code criminel afin d’éliminer comme moyen de défense contre l’infraction de fomenter volontairement la haine ou l’antisémitisme le fait qu’une personne a, de bonne foi, exprimé une opinion sur un sujet religieux ou une opinion fondée sur un texte religieux auquel elle croit, ou a tenté d’en établir le bien-fondé par argument.
SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Criminal Code to eliminate as a defence against wilful promotion of hatred or antisemitism the fact that a person, in good faith, expressed or attempted to establish by an argument an opinion on a religious subject or an opinion based on a belief in a religious text.

1 (1) L’alinéa 319(3)b) du Code criminel est abrogé.
1 (1) Paragraph 319(3)(b) of the Criminal Code is repealed.
(2) L’alinéa 319(3.1)b) de la même loi est abrogé.
(2) Paragraph 319(3.1)(b) of the Act is repealed.
