Pursuant to the House of Commons Standing Order 111.1(1), the Order of Reference from the House of Commons on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, and the Order of Reference from the Senate on Thursday, June 6, 2024, the committee commenced consideration of the certificate of nomination of Christine Ivory to the position of Parliamentary Librarian.

Christine Ivory made a statement and answered questions.

At 12:45 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:54 p.m., the meeting resumed in camera.

ORDERED, — That the Joint Chairs report to their respective Houses that the committee approves the appointment of Christine Ivory as Parliamentary Librarian.

At 12:56 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Joint Chairs.
