SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Pest Control Products Act to prohibit the manufacturing, possession, handling, storing, transportation, importation, distribution or use of glyphosate.

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

Pest Control Products Act
Amendment to the Act
1 Section 6 of the Pest Control Products Act is amended by adding the following after subsection (1):
Glyphosate
Start of inserted block(1.1) No person shall manufacture, possess, handle, store, transport, import, distribute or use glyphosate as a pest control product.
End of inserted blockTransitional Provision
Registration cancelled
2 The registration of glyphosate under the Pest Control Products Act is cancelled.
Coming into Force
One year after royal assent
3 This Act comes into force one year after the day on which it receives royal assent.
