SOMMAIRE
SUMMARY
Le texte modifie l’alinéa 207(4)b) du Code criminel afin de légaliser la mise sur pied et l’exploitation dans une province ou un territoire, par le gouvernement de cette province ou de ce territoire ou par une personne ou une entité titulaire d’une licence, d’une loterie associée au pari sur une course — autre qu’une course de chevaux — ou un combat, ou une épreuve ou manifestation sportive.
This enactment amends paragraph 207(4)(b) of the Criminal Code to make it lawful for the government of a province or territory, or a licensed person or entity, to conduct and manage in the province or territory a lottery scheme that involves betting on a race — other than a horse-race — or fight, or on a single sport event or athletic contest.
