SUMMARY

An Act respecting net-zero greenhouse gas emissions |
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
Short title
1 This Act may be cited as the Net-Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions Act.
Obligation of Government of Canada
2 The Government of Canada must ensure that Canada’s greenhouse gas emissions are reduced to net zero by 2050.
