SOMMAIRE
Le texte modifie la Loi sur le ministère de l’Industrie afin d’exiger du ministre de l’Industrie qu’il publie certains renseignements concernant l’aide financière accordée soit en vertu de l’article 14 de la loi, soit par toute agence de développement ou de promotion économique relevant du ministre.
SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Department of Industry Act in order to require the Minister of Industry to publish certain information concerning the financial assistance provided either under section 14 of the Act or by any economic development or opportunities agency for which the Minister is responsible.

1 La Loi sur le ministère de l’Industrie est modifiée par adjonction, après l’article 14, de ce qui suit :
1 The Department of Industry Act is amended by adding the following after section 14:

14.1 (1) Au présent article, trimestre s’entend de toute période de trois mois débutant le premier jour de janvier, d’avril, de juillet ou d’octobre.

(2) Dans les quatre-vingt-dix jours suivant le trimestre au cours duquel des prêts ont été consentis, des assurances-prêts ou assurances-crédit ont été souscrites ou des subventions ou contributions ont été accordées, soit en vertu de l’article 14 ou par toute agence de développement ou de promotion économique relevant du ministre, le ministre publie sur le site Web du ministère les renseignements suivants :
a) un état indiquant tous les prêts consentis, les assurances-prêts ou assurances-crédit souscrites et les subventions ou contributions accordées au cours du trimestre visé;
b) les circonstances, les modalités et les conditions de remboursement des prêts consentis, la méthode de remboursement choisie, le calendrier prévu pour le remboursement et l’état de celui-ci;
c) dans le cas où des options d’achat d’actions — ou autres titres financiers ou assimilés — ont été obtenues à titre de condition des prêts, assurances-prêts, assurances-crédit, subventions ou contributions, les détails concernant ces options, notamment le nombre d’options acquises, exercées, cédées ou vendues, ainsi que les modalités et conditions attachées à celles-ci.
End of inserted block(2) Within 90 days after the end of a quarter in which loans or grants or contributions were made or loan insurance or credit insurance was provided, either under section 14 or by any economic development or opportunities agency for which the Minister is responsible, the Minister shall publish the following information on the department’s website:
(a) a statement of all loans and grants or contributions made, and loan insurance or credit insurance provided during that quarter;
(b) the circumstances of and terms and conditions for repayment of the loans made, the repayment method chosen, the repayment schedule and the repayment status; and
(c) in the event that stock options or other financial or similar instruments were obtained as a condition under which loans or grants or contributions were made, or loan insurance or credit insurance provided, the details of these options, including the number of options acquired, exercised, assigned or sold, and the terms and conditions attached to the options.
