Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, Standing Order 108(4)(a) of the House of Commons and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, April 19, 2018, the Committee proceeded to a briefing by the Parliamentary Budget Officer.

Jean-Denis Fréchette made a statement and, with Jason Jacques, answered questions.

At 12:48 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:51 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 and Standing Order 108(4)(a) of the House of Commons, the Committee proceeded to a briefing on the impact on the Library of Parliament of the closing of Centre Block for renovations.

Sonia L'Heureux made a statement and, with Catherine MacLeod, answered questions.
