SUMMARY
This enactment requires the Minister of Health
(a) to develop drinking water standards in collaboration with representatives of the provincial and territorial governments; and
(b) to review the drinking water standards adopted by member countries of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development to determine if those standards provide a greater level of health protection than Canadian standards.
