SUMMARY
The purpose of this enactment is to authorize the publication of information relating to a young person who has been dealt with under the Youth Criminal Justice Act once that person has been charged as an adult under the Criminal Code.

An Act to amend the Youth Criminal Justice Act (publication of information)

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
1. Subsection 110(2) of the Youth Criminal Justice Act is amended by striking out “and” at the end of paragraph (b), by adding “and” at the end of paragraph (c) and by adding the following after paragraph (c):
(d) in a case where the information relates to a young person who is charged with an offence under the Criminal Code after attaining the age of eighteen years.
