SUMMARY
This enactment provides that persons whose appointment requires the approval by resolution of the Senate, the House of Commons or both Houses of Parliament must understand English and French without the aid of an interpreter and be able to express themselves clearly in both official languages.

Le texte prévoit que les personnes dont la nomination nécessite l’approbation par résolution du Sénat, de la Chambre des communes ou des deux chambres doivent comprendre le français et l’anglais sans l’aide d’un interprète et doivent pouvoir s’exprimer clairement dans les deux langues officielles.
