BILL C-597
An Act respecting a Military and Veteran Families Week
Whereas the families — particularly spouses and children — of past and present members of the Canadian Forces make sacrifices for their loved ones and their country and share in the burden of protecting Canada;
Whereas past and present members of the Canadian Forces are a source of pride and honour for all Canadians;

And whereas the Government of Canada wishes to confirm its commitment to improving the quality of life of military and veteran families by ensuring adequate resources and supports for spouses and children;
