SUMMARY
This enactment reduces the allowable noise limit for children’s products from 100 decibels to 75 decibels.

An Act to amend the Hazardous Products Act (noise limit for children's products)
R.S., c. H-3
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
1. Paragraph (a) of item 10 of Part I of Schedule I to the Hazardous Products Act is replaced by the following:
(a) make or emit noise exceeding seventy-five decibels measured at the distance that the product ordinarily would be from the ear of the child using it;
