RECOMMENDATION
Her Excellency the Governor General recommends to the House of Commons the appropriation of public revenue under the circumstances, in the manner and for the purposes set out in a measure entitled “An Act to amend the Employment Insurance Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts”.
SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Employment Insurance Act and other Acts by establishing a scheme to provide for the payment of special benefits to self-employed persons who are not currently entitled to receive them.

Son Excellence la gouverneure générale recommande à la Chambre des communes l’affectation de deniers publics dans les circonstances, de la manière et aux fins prévues dans une mesure intitulée « Loi modifiant la Loi sur l’assurance-emploi et modifiant d’autres lois en conséquence ».
SOMMAIRE
Le texte modifie la Loi sur l’assurance-emploi pour établir un régime prévoyant le versement de prestations spéciales pour les travailleurs indépendants qui n’ont pas le droit actuellement d’en recevoir.
