SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act to provide that the decision to issue a temporary residence permit to a victim of trafficking in persons does not depend on the victim’s participation in an investigation or legal proceedings in respect of that offence.

Le texte modifie la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés afin que la décision de délivrer un permis de séjour temporaire aux victimes de la traite des personnes ne soit pas subordonnée à la participation de la victime à une enquête ou une poursuite pénale concernant l’infraction.
