SUMMARY This enactment amends the Excise Tax Act to eliminate the goods and services tax (GST) on the sale of goods and services under an arrangement for funeral services.		SOMMAIRE Le texte modifie la Loi sur la taxe d’accise afin de soustraire la vente de produits et services aux termes d’arrangements de services funéraires à l'application de la taxe sur les produits et services (TPS).

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

1. Schedule VI to the Excise Tax Act is amended by adding the following after Part X:

1. L’annexe VI de la Loi sur la taxe d’accise est modifiée par adjonction, après la partie X, de ce qui suit :

		FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

PARTIE XI
ARRANGEMENTS DE SERVICES FUNÉRAIRES

1. A supply of goods and services under an arrangement for funeral services in respect of an individual, including the provision of a coffin, a headstone or any other property relating to the funeral, burial or cremation of the individual that is provided under the arrangement.

1. La fourniture de biens et services aux termes d’arrangements de services funéraires relativement à un particulier, y compris la livraison d'un cercueil, d'une pierre tombale ou d'un autre bien lié aux funérailles, à l'enterrement ou à la crémation du particulier prévu par les arrangements.
