SUMMARY
The purpose of this enactment is to repeal the sections of the Criminal Code that provide for a judicial review of the parole ineligibility period with respect to certain life sentences. The repeal would operate both prospectively and retrospectively.

L'objet de ce texte est d'abroger les articles du Code criminel qui confèrent le droit de demander la révision judiciaire de la période d'inéligibilité à la libération conditionnelle dans le cas de certaines condamnations à l'emprisonnement à perpétuité. L'abrogation s'appliquerait rétroactivement et pour l'avenir.
