RECOMMENDATION Her Excellency the Governor General recommends to the House of Commons the appropriation of public revenue under the circumstances, in the manner and for the purposes set out in a measure entitled “An Act to amend the Judges Act”. SUMMARY This enactment increases the number of judicial salaries that may be paid under paragraph 24(3)(b) of the Judges Act from thirty to fifty.		RECOMMANDATION Son Excellence la gouverneure générale recommande à la Chambre des communes l’affectation de deniers publics dans les circonstances, de la manière et aux fins prévues dans une mesure intitulée « Loi modifiant la Loi sur les juges ». SOMMAIRE Le texte fait passer de trente à cinquante le nombre maximal des traitements qui peuvent être versés au titre de l’alinéa 24(3)b) de la Loi sur les juges.

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

1. Paragraph 24(3)(b) of the Judges Act is replaced by the following:

1. L’alinéa 24(3)b) de la Loi sur les juges est remplacé par ce qui suit :

(b) fifty, in the case of judges appointed to superior courts in the provinces other than appeal courts.
