SUMMARY
The purpose of this enactment is to establish and implement the Government of Canada’s policy respecting agricultural supply management.
The enactment sets out the mandate of the Minister designated for the purposes of the Act, and requires other ministers with responsibilities relating to agricultural supply management to take the measures that they consider appropriate in order to implement the policy.
The enactment also allows the Minister to enter into agreements with the provinces and territories and with foreign states with respect to the implementation of the policy.
