SUMMARY This enactment amends An Act to amend the Canada Elections Act and the Income Tax Act by replacing its sunset provision with a requirement for a mandatory review, within two years, by a committee of the Senate and a committee of the House of Commons.		SOMMAIRE Le texte modifie la Loi modifiant la Loi électorale du Canada et la Loi de l’impôt sur le revenu afin de remplacer la disposition de temporarisation par une disposition prévoyant un examen obligatoire, dans un délai de deux ans, par un comité du Sénat et un comité de la Chambre des communes.

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

Sa Majesté, sur l’avis et avec le consentement du Sénat et de la Chambre des communes du Canada, édicte :

1. Section 26 of An Act to amend the Canada Elections Act and the Income Tax Act, being chapter 24 of the Statutes of Canada, 2004, is replaced by the following:

1. L’article 26 de la Loi modifiant la Loi électorale du Canada et la Loi de l’impôt sur le revenu, chapitre 24 des Lois du Canada (2004), est remplacé par ce qui suit :

26. Within two years after the coming into force of this section, the committee of the Senate that normally considers electoral matters, and the committee of the House of Commons that normally considers electoral matters, shall each undertake a comprehensive review of the amendments made by this Act and submit a report to its House containing its recommendations concerning those amendments.

26. Dans les deux ans qui suivent l’entrée en vigueur du présent article, le comité du Sénat et le comité de la Chambre des communes habituellement chargés des questions électorales examinent à fond les modifications apportées par la présente loi et déposent devant leur chambre respective un rapport où sont consignées leurs recommandations.
