SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Investment Canada Act to provide for the review of foreign investments in Canada that could be contrary to the national interest. This enactment also provides that the Governor in Council may, by order, take any measures that the Governor in Council considers advisable to protect the national interest.

SOMMAIRE
Le texte modifie la Loi sur Investissement Canada afin d’exiger l’examen des investissements étrangers effectués au Canada qui pourraient être contraires à l’intérêt national. Il prévoit également que le gouverneur en conseil peut, par décret, prendre les mesures qu’il estime indiquées pour protéger l’intérêt national.
