RECOMMENDATION

Her Excellency the Governor General recommends to the House of Commons the appropriation of public revenue under the circumstances, in the manner and for the purposes set out in a measure entitled “An Act respecting international bridges and tunnels and making a consequential amendment to another Act”.

SUMMARY

This enactment establishes an approval mechanism for the construction, alteration and acquisition of international bridges and tunnels and provides for the regulation of their operation, maintenance and security.

RECOMMANDATION

Son Excellence la gouverneure générale recommande à la Chambre des communes l’affectation de deniers publics dans les circonstances, de la manière et aux fins prévues dans une mesure intitulée « Loi concernant les ponts et tunnels internationaux et modifiant une loi en conséquence ».

SOMMAIRE

Le texte a pour objet de subordonner la construction, la modification et l’acquisition des ponts et tunnels internationaux à l’obtention d’un agrément et de régir leur exploitation, leur entretien et leur sûreté.
