SUMMARY
The purpose of this enactment is to ensure that sections 110, 111 and 171 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act come into force on the day on which this enactment receives royal assent.

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
Sa Majesté, sur l'avis et avec le consentement du Sénat et de la Chambre des communes du Canada, édicte :

1. Section 275 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act is renumbered as subsection 275(1) and is amended by adding the following:
1. L’article 275 de la Loi sur l'immigration et la protection des réfugiés devient le paragraphe 275(1) et est modifié par adjonction de ce qui suit :
Sections 110, 111 and 171
(2) Despite subsection (1), sections 110, 111 and 171 come into force on the day on which a bill introduced in the 1st session of the 39th Parliament and entitled An Act to amend the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (coming into force of sections 110, 111 and 171) receives royal assent.
(2) Malgré le paragraphe (1), les articles 110, 111 et 171 entrent en vigueur à la date de sanction du projet de loi déposé au cours de la 1re session de la 39e législature et intitulé Loi modifiant la Loi sur l'immigration et la protection des réfugiés (entrée en vigueur des articles 110, 111 et 171).
