SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Criminal Code in relation to gaming offences to narrow the exemption that allows provincial governments to lawfully conduct and manage lottery schemes involving video lottery terminals and slot machines by limiting the locations at which such machines can be installed to racetracks and premises dedicated to gaming.

Le texte modifie une disposition du Code criminel relative aux loteries de façon à limiter à certains emplacements, soit les hippodromes et les lieux consacrés aux activités de jeux, l’exception permettant au gouvernement d’une province de mettre sur pied et d’exploiter légalement une loterie au moyen d’appareils de loterie vidéo et d’appareils à sous.
