SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Act to require the Minister of Foreign Affairs to have laid before each House of Parliament a copy of any report submitted by the Government of Canada to the United Nations on the progress made by Canada in implementing United Nations human rights instruments, as well as any responses to those reports received by the Government of Canada from the United Nations.
