SUMMARY |

The purpose of this enactment is to make the selling of wildlife and
wildlife parts an offence under the Criminal Code unless carried out
under and in accordance with a licence, permit or an exemption order.
The sale of threatened or endangered species or their parts would attract
an increased penalty. Such offences would also be subject to the
money-laundering provisions of the Criminal Code.
