An Act requiring the national flag of Canada to be flown at half-mast on Remembrance Day

      Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

SHORT TITLE

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Remembrance Day National Flag Act.

INTERPRETATION

Definition of ``federal premises''

2. In this Act, ``federal premises'' means land or buildings owned or occupied by Her Majesty in right of Canada.

NATIONAL FLAG OF CANADA

National flag of Canada at half-mast

3. On Remembrance Day, the national flag of Canada shall be flown at half-mast for the entire day on federal premises throughout Canada.
