An Act to amend the Citizenship Act

| R.S., c. C-29
|

1. Section 11 of the Citizenship Act is
amended by adding the following after
subsection (1):
|
|
| Exception
|
(1.1) The requirement set out in paragraph
(1)(d) does not apply to a person who ceased
to be a Canadian citizen as a result of a parent
of that person acquiring the citizenship or
nationality of another country before February
15, 1977.
