An Act to amend the Criminal Code
(recruitment of children and swarming)

R.S., c. C-46
|

|
|
1. The Criminel Code is amended by
adding the following after section 264:
|
|
Recruitment
of children
|
264.01 (1) Every person who recruits a
child to commit an offence under this or any
other Act of Parliament, is guilty of
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
``child'' « enfant »
|
(2) In subsection (1), ``child'' means a
person who is or appears to be under the age
of eighteen years.
|
|
Swarming
|
264.02 (1) Every person who engages in
swarming is guilty of
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Regulation
|
(2) The Minister of Justice shall, not later
than two months after this Act is assented to,
define by regulation what constitutes
``swarming'' for the purposes of subsection
(1).
